Inspiring the New Generations
Our Education Mission
Pandaland is designed as a place where learning comes alive.
We help young people and adults explore conservation, biodiversity, cultural connection, and sustainability through accessible, meaningful, and inspiring educational experiences.
Education Programmes
Our programmes cater to schools, kura, tertiary students, families, and community groups.
Sessions include guided experiences, classroom-ready resources, hands-on workshops, and seasonal events — all tailored to different learning needs.
Curriculum-Linked Learning
All school and kura programmes align with the New Zealand Curriculum and Te Marautanga o Aotearoa, covering ecosystems, climate impacts, biodiversity, animal behaviour, and Aotearoa–China relations.
Visitor Learning Experience
Visitors explore immersive exhibition spaces, behind-the-scenes viewing, and educational zones that explain panda biology, conservation challenges, and the importance of protecting endangered species.
Digital Learning
& Partnerships
To expand access nationally, Pandaland will offer virtual tours, live panda cameras, digital resources, and online modules.
We will partner with iwi, universities, environmental groups, cultural organisations, and global conservation networks.
